Retail Rewards
Retail Rewards. With the credit card, you can get rewards for your everyday purchases at select retailers and supermarkets.
No Overlimit Fee
No Over-the-Limit Fee. You won’t pay an over-the-limit fee if your credit card balance goes over your credit limit.
For Example:
Let’s say your credit card limit is $5,000. One month, you spend more than your limit on the card. Some credit card companies will charge you between $25 and $35 for this mistake. If your card advertises no overlimit fee, you won’t be charged a penalty for your spending.
No Penalty APR
This credit card comes with a No Penalty APR. You won’t default to a higher APR if your payment arrives on or after day 60.
Price Protection
Imagine that thing you bought at full price goes on sale the next week. With this credit card’s Price Protection benefit you can get back the difference between the sales price and what you paid. You can only claim this benefit for the exact item: same model; same manufacturer; same everything.
For Example:
Let’s say you bought a round-trip ticket to Orlando for $750, but two weeks later, the airline has a sale. Everything is the same, except it now costs $500. If you had a price protection guarantee on your credit card, your credit card company would refund you $250. Contact your credit card company to find out specifics on how to get the money back.
Emergency Card Replacement
Emergency Card Replacement. Whether your card is lost, stolen or damaged, the credit card company can provide help as soon as next day. It doesn’t matter if you’re still on vacation, the credit card company will mail a replacement to you wherever you are. This will be done free of charge.
Fraud Protection
The credit card company’s Fraud Protection keeps your account safe from unauthorized charges. In fact, once the charges are proven fraudulent, you will be guaranteed a refund. All you have to do is check your statement. If you find something wrong, contact the credit card company and file a claim.
Free Credit Score
Discover Bank Credit Card With Free Credit Score.
This credit card may give your credit score every month. You don’t have to pay for it.
Identity Theft Protection
Identity Theft Protection. This monitors the internet to see if your personal information is being bought, sold or traded online. This covers your credit card information, driver’s license, social security number, or other sensitive or personally identifiable information.
Zero Liability
Zero Liability. If you didn’t buy it, don’t pay for it. You will not be held responsible for any unauthorized charges that appear on your account.
U.S.-based Customer Service
U.S.-based Customer Service. No matter what time you need them, the credit card company is available 24/7. Their offices are 100% U.S.-based, and you can speak to a live person with minimal automated prompts.
Promo Rate
Promo Rate. This credit card comes with a promotional “promo” rate, which is usually significantly lower than your regular interest rate. This is only valid for the first few months after you open the credit card, then the regular rate applies.
For Example:
Let’s say your credit card has an introductory rate of 0% APR for 15 months. When that expires, you pay the regular interest rate (22.49%). To maximize your promotional rate benefit, your balance should be paid off before the end of the introductory period. Failure to do so will mean that the interest rate on the remainder of your balance will skyrocket.
No First Late Fee
No First Late Fee. You will not receive a late fee for the first time you pay your required credit card payment after the due date. Any subsequent late payments made will receive a late fee.
Cash back bonus
Cash Back Bonus. Get some cash back as a bonus when you sign up for the credit card. The bonus offer is valid for a specific time. There are limitations.
0 Intro APR for Purchases
Zero Introductory APR for Purchases. With this credit card, you won’t have to pay interest on purchases within the specified period of time. After this period the usual APR applies.
No Foreign Fees
No Foreign Fees. With this credit card, you won’t pay any fees on any transactions you make while traveling overseas.
Your best chance of being approved for this credit card involves having a credit score 651 - 750. Having your credit score in this range does not guarantee approval. There are still other factors besides credit score that determine if you will qualify for this card.
